What you need to apply

Use this list to find out what information we need to complete your home loan application.

Buying property

We ask you for:

1. Details of what you earn

  • Your two latest pay slips showing the year-to-date gross income (before taxes and deductions)
  • Last year's payment summary (Group Certificate) or your most recent tax assessment

If you are self-employed, we ask for a copy of your two latest tax returns, as well as profit and loss statements for the past two years, and your most recent tax assessment.

2. Your savings record

  • Account statements

3. Details of your assets

  • The value of any investments or other assets you own, including things like furniture, leisure items, vehicles and superannuation

4. Details of what you owe

  • The amount you owe on existing loans, credit cards, store charge cards and any other debts

5. A copy of the contract of sale

6. A copy of the receipt you received when you paid your deposit

7. A copy of your building specifications, if you are building a new home

Refinancing a loan

We ask you for:

1. Details of what you earn

  • Your two latest pay slips showing year-to-date gross income (before taxes and deductions)
  • Last year's payment summary (Group Certificate) or your most recent tax assessment.
