Overdraft
A CUA overdraft gives you access to emergency funds without using credit cards. It’s a line of credit attached to your regular transaction account and is only activated once you run out of your own money. Because the funds are available through your transaction account, you can access them with your existing CUA Visa Debit card, rediCARD or cheque book, or through online or phone banking.
Everyday overdraft
A CUA Everyday overdraft:
- Is an ideal option if you use your overdraft regularly
- Offers a variable rate of 10.90%p.a.
- Has no maximum term
- Incurs a small overdraft service fee of $3 per month (exemptions apply)
- Allows you to make lump sum payments at any time without penalty
- Only charges interest on the funds you use, when you use them.
Just In Case overdraft
A CUA Just In Case overdraft:
- Is an ideal option if you only expect to use your overdraft in emergencies
- Offers a variable rate of 13.50%p.a.
- Has no maximum term
- Has no monthly fee
- Allows you to make lump sum payments at any time without penalty
- Only charges interest on the funds you use, when you use them.
