View terms and conditions for the CUA Community Care Grant Program.

View terms and conditions of voting.

How many votes do I have?

You have up to two votes, but only once per voting method. One vote online and one vote at a local participating CUA branch.

Who can vote?

Anyone, including the school community, can vote.

What is my vote worth?

To ensure all schools have an even playing field, especially for schools with smaller enrolment numbers, all votes are calculated on a pro rata basis.

Who judges the grant applications?

You do! It’s your choice; the school project that receives the majority of the community vote cumulatively online and at participating CUA branches will be awarded with the grant.

I have used all of my votes, what can I do now?

Spread the word! Try telling your family and friends to vote too, their vote can also make a difference.

What if I can’t decide who to vote for?

If you are having trouble deciding on which project to vote for, consider the following points:

  • Quality of the submission - How much effort went into this entry? Was it well thought through and clearly explained?
  • Make a difference - How deeply are people affected by this idea and how urgent is the need? How many people will this idea benefit, and will it make a difference in your community?
  • Originality - How original is the idea?
  • Inspiration – Will the idea inspire a community spirit and encourage others?
  • Success and sustainability - How likely is this idea to be successfully executed in the short term? Will it have a lasting impression on the community?

When can I vote?

Voting period starts nationally on 10 October 2011 and closes midnight on 4 November 2011.

When can I see what project was successful?

The winning projects will be announced nationally on our website on 18 November 2011. We will also send you a follow up email using the email address you have provided to inform you when the grant winners are announced. You may unsubscribe at any time from this email subscription should you wish to not receive any follow up information regarding the CUA Community Care Grant Program.
