The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Australia's leading national not-for-profit organisation established to fund all forms of research into the prevention and cure of breast cancer. The ultimate goal of NBCF is to raise enough money to find a cure for breast cancer. Throughout the month of October, internationally known as Breast Cancer Month, all CUA branches and hub offices assist the NBCF by selling pink merchandise, and in 2011, supporters were able to turn their Facebook profiles pink using the CUA ‘pink my profile’ app with CUA donating $1 to the NBCF for the first 15,000 people who did so.
