Anyone can join

All permanent residents of Australia are welcome to become members of CUA. 

Government legislation requires that when you first open a new account with any financial institution, you need to bring along several forms of identification such as:

• Birth certificate
• Passport
• Utility bills
• Driver's licence

You will also need $10.00 to pay for your CUA share. If you are under 18 years of age, you will have the choice to either pay for your share immediately or upon reaching the age of 18.

Join now at a CUA branch

Our Member Service Officers will help you to complete the membership application form, if necessary.

After processing your application form, CUA will issue your share certificate.

Alternatively, you can use our membership pack (PDF File, 349.5 KB) to submit an application away from a CUA branch. Simply open the form and type in each section by tabbing across, print the completed form and post without a stamp to:
