CUA opens new regional office on the Central NSW Coast

Tuggerah locals are set to celebrate the increased financial service opportunities from Credit Union Australia (CUA) as it officially opens its new Tuggerah branch on Friday, 23 February.
Local members are invited to enjoy morning tea at the new location, meet Branch Manager Narelle Poulton and go in the draw to win an LG Plasma TV.
The new branch has seen additional staff employed to help meet members’ requirements and CUA Managing Director Mr Graham Olrich said the new branch had given the credit union the opportunity to expand and offer its members personal one on one advice.
“This branch opening has certainly benefited our members in the local area who required specialist advice on a wide range of financial issues,” Mr Olrich said.
“The growth of the local branch has boosted our membership in the area and we are anticipating increasing positive responses from the local community, because people recognise the added benefits of belonging to Australia’s largest credit union.”
Tuggerah Branch Manager Ms Narelle Poulton said the opening had provided members and staff with a new, well presented branch that improved on the already high standard of service CUA offered.
“With the official opening morning tea we’re hoping to initiate further involvement in the community, offering our services including managing all of their financial requirements,” Ms Poulton said.
“In the upcoming months we want to continue to build connections between CUA and the community by establishing sponsorship opportunities and fundraising to support local events.”
The branch is located at Shop 1065 Westfield Shopping Centre, 16 Gavenlock Road, Tuggerah. CUA has over 75 branches located in Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Western Australia.
