Free financial planning seminar

Caloundra's self-employed residents will have the opportunity to learn how to plan and position their way into a financially healthy and stress-free retirement at a free seminar hosted by CUA (Credit Union Australia) on Tuesday 4 March 2008.
CUA Financial Advisor Don Gibbs said the 'Make Self Employment Work for YOU' seminar would be valuable for any self-employed person wanting to know how to secure their business assets, build their long-term wealth and reduce tax now so that they could enjoy life stress-free in retirement.
"It really is possible to go into retirement and have the finances to cruise around the world, stay in luxurious hotels and holiday at exotic locations,” he said.
"It's all within reach and our qualified financial planners are going to teach seminar attendees how to achieve the lifestyle they want in retirement.
"Those who come along to the free seminar will learn how to consolidate their super accounts, how business insurance can protect their business interests, about the insurance options within super and how to become more aware of what tax deductions apply to super contributions.

CUA's free 'Make Self Employment Work for YOU' seminar will be held at Caloundra RSL, 19 West Terrace from 6.00 pm for an official 6.15 pm start. Light refreshments will be served from 7.30 pm.
