CUA Board seeking new Non-Executive Director
Notice to Members - 07 May 2009
Dear CUA members,
The CUA Board has decided to appoint a Non-Executive Director to the Board as part of our continuing governance responsibility to ensure your Board has the right mix of skills and experience to meet the needs of the CUA Group.
Long serving Director George Hanlon left the Board at the end of February 2009. The Board now comprises 6 Non-Executive Directors which is the minimum number under our Constitution.
The Board considers it prudent to recruit an additional director at this time as provided for in the Constitution.
To assist in this important process, a professional recruitment firm, Korn/Ferry International, has been engaged by the Board to undertake a search for a Non-Executive Director to be appointed by the Board of Credit Union Australia. The Board is seeking appropriately credentialed high quality candidates, with retail financial services and leadership experience.
Interested members should contact Robert Webster or Suzanne Prowse at Korn/Ferry International and supply by email a letter of application accompanied by an up-to-date CV by 31 May 2009.
