Dapto City Coast branch changes for the better
5 December 2007
The Dapto City Coast Credit Union has moved to new and improved premises at Dapto Mall and re-opened as a branch of CUA (Credit Union Australia).
Dapto CUA Branch Manager Mr Jye Cajar said he expected the branch’s change of location would not affect existing members and would prove more popular due to its prime location.
“Dapto Mall features over 70 specialty shops and 1050 car parks, making it more convenient for our members to do all their banking and shopping in one location,” he said.
“Members will be served by the same friendly staff as the old City Coast branch but our new premises are more modern and professional to allow for a further personalised service.
Mr Cajar said that since relocating, the branch was increasingly favoured by Dapto locals as a fresh alternative to the big banks.
“I think people have started to look for something different and more personal, and that is the type of banking experience that CUA provides.
“We are privileged to be part of the Dapto community and I am personally excited by the opportunity to be involved in the lives of all locals, whether that be by assisting with the purchase of a first home, budgeting to start a family, starting a business or preparing for retirement.”
CUA will continue its investment in the Illawarra region and over the next 12 months there will be significant upgrades to the local branch network, including the re-brand of all City Coast branches over to CUA.
