Relationships Australia and CUA help manage change
19 November 2009
“CHANGE needn’t be something we fear” is the message Relationships Australia and community partner CUA hope to communicate in a free public seminar about managing change.
The two-hour seminar will explore change and what it means, discuss participants’ personal experience of change and help to identify strategies and skills to manage change.
Relationships Australia Communication Director Monique Hauber-Davidson said change affects us all and in many different ways.
“Sometimes changes are positive and long awaited, bringing about improved circumstances which are easy to manage and absorb into our daily life,” she said.
“However, especially in light of the recent economic climate, the changes some people are experiencing are challenging, demanding, difficult to accept and adapt to.”
CUA Group General Manager – Strategy and Marketing Andrew Hadley said it was CUA’s goal to assist members with advice they needed to manage even the most daunting changes.
“Change affects us all differently and at different times, but how we manage change and react to it can place us in a better position than ever before,” he said.
“CUA prides itself on being able to guide and support our members throughout many of life’s challenges and we look forward to being able to further assist our members by conducting these free seminars.”
