Take a shot with CUA and the Panthers

1 June 2007

Celebrity prizes are just a shot away and within the firing line of spectators at the Penrith Panthers home games. Every week members of the crowd have the chance to win tickets to home games and to go into the draw for Panthers memorabilia.

The kick off of CUA’s “Take a Shot” competition is giving members of the crowd the opportunity to review their financial health and go in the draw to win a signed Panthers jersey, together with $1000.

It is simply a matter of visiting either CUA’s or the Panther’s websites, taking the health check and entering the competition online in order to go into the draw to win the prizes.

Each of the Panthers players are also handing out signed footballs and those who catch one simply register their football by half time at the stadium’s ‘kids’ corner’. There, they’ll be given details on how to collect their two tickets to the next Panthers home game.

CUA Managing Director Mr Graham Olrich said it was fantastic his credit union was involved in the Penrith community, both through its support of Panthers on the Prowl community projects and through its sponsorship of Credit Union Australia Stadium Penrith.

“It is wonderful to get behind our local sports team which members of the community are so passionate about; the sport and the players,” Mr Olrich said.

“The competition adds to the hype and atmosphere of the crowd and certainly enhances their enthusiasm at the home games.

“The free finance check also provides a great opportunity to assess one’s current financial situation, which is something we recommend be done regularly to ensure all information is kept current and that you always have the best arrangement to suit your needs.”
