NRL season kicks off prize wins for Panthers fans
THE start of the 2009 NRL season has once again kicked off the “Take a Shot” competition, which allows Penrith Panthers fans to review their financial health as well as go into the draw to win a signed Panthers jersey, corporate box tickets for home games and other prizes.
Fans can enter the CUA-run (Credit Union Australia) competition to win the jersey by visiting the CUA marquee in the kids’ corner at Panthers home games and filling out an entry form, or by taking a CUA financial health check online, which prompts users to fill in an online competition entry form afterwards.
As an added bonus any Penrith fans who fill in an entry form at Panthers home games will receive a CUA/Panthers “TRY!” banner.
At each home game a person proudly flashing their CUA/Panthers banner will be randomly selected and at half time will be declared the winner of four corporate box tickets to the next home game at CUA stadium, plus a pack full of Panthers and CUA merchandise.
CUA Acting CEO Rob Nicholls said it was fantastic the credit union was involved in the Penrith community and that the competition provided local members with a great opportunity to review their financial health.
“It is wonderful to get behind our local sports team which members of the community are so passionate about; the sport and the players,” he said.
“The competition adds to the hype and atmosphere of the crowd and certainly enhances their enthusiasm at the home games.
“The free finance check also provides a great opportunity to assess one’s current financial situation, which is something we recommend be done regularly to ensure all information is kept current and that you always have the best arrangement that suits your needs.”
