How it works

Set up

All you need is a CUA everyday banking account, and a CUA savings account. Then, simply turn on Savings Top Up in online banking.

Top up your savings

Make a purchase using a CUA Visa Debit card, and a pre-set top up amount between $0.01 and $5 will be transferred automatically to a CUA savings account.

Sit back and watch your savings grow

Reach your savings goals sooner. You can turn Savings Top Up on and off anytime. And don’t worry about leaving yourself short, if you don't have the required funds in your CUA everyday banking account, the Savings Top Up won't come out!

No, Savings Top Up is only accessible through online banking.

Although there is no minimum balance, you must ensure the amount required for the Savings Top Up transfer is in your CUA everyday banking account at the end of each day for the transfer to take place.

Yes. A Savings Top Up can be set up from a joint account, however only the account holder who has set it up can makes changes or cancel the Savings Top Up via their Online Banking.
