Security questions are the answer to being locked out

Ever locked yourself out of the house? Like most of us, you may not have thought about a spare key until it was too late. The same goes for online banking. However, with GSB Online Banking you can use personalised security questions to reset your password and regain access quickly. It’s just like having a spare key.

For added security, we recently updated to an alphanumeric password. So, if you ever forget your password or make several failed login attempts you’ll be temporarily locked out of GSB Online or Mobile Banking. It’s our way of protecting your money until we can verify it’s you trying to gain access.

To reset your password, you can give us a call or reset it yourself via GSB Online Banking. Having a registered email address or mobile phone number, along with three security questions could save you from having to make a phone call. To help you set up security questions for your accounts contact customer support or see our FAQ`s.
