Rotary club awarded $10,000 grant to implement youth mentoring program at high school
At-risk and disadvantaged boys at Parramatta High School will benefit from a peer-led mentoring program after Rotary Club of Parramatta City Inc was chosen from 27 community groups to receive a $10,000 cash grant from CUA’s Parramatta branch. The program will be implemented in collaboration with Top Blokes Foundation.
Mount Gravatt youth support organisation awarded $10,000 grant for youth development program
At-risk and disengaged young people in Mount Gravatt will be able to benefit from a youth development program after Queensland Police-Citizens Youth Welfare Association Mount Gravatt (PCYC Mount Gravatt) received a $10,000 cash grant from CUA’s Garden City branch. PCYC Mount Gravatt was selected from 10 community groups that applied for the funds.
Community radio station awarded $10,000 for IT upgrade to help vision-impaired people
Vision impaired staff and volunteers at not-for-profit community radio station Queensland Radio for the Print Handicapped (4RPH Brisbane) will find it easier to make on-air announcements and contribute toward show production after receiving a $10,000 cash grant from CUA’s Brisbane CBD branch. 4RPH Brisbane was selected from 15 community groups that applied for the funds.
