Rewarding Insurance Terms and Conditions

 

Full T&Cs:

  1. By participating in CUA’s promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  2. Combined Hospitals & Extras Health insurance is provided by CUA Health Ltd ABN 98 098 685 459 (CHL) which is not an authorised deposit-taking institution. While this insurance may be distributed by CUA, CUA is not liable for this product and does not stand behind CHL.
  3. Home and/or Contents, Landlord and Comprehensive Motor insurance is arranged by Credit Union Australia Limited, ABN 44 087 650 959 (CUA) AFSL No. 238317 for the insurer Allianz Australia Insurance Limited ABN 15 000 122 850 AFSL No 234708. CUA does not guarantee or otherwise support this insurance product. CUA do not provide any advice based on any consideration of your objectives, financial situation or needs. Terms, conditions, limits and exclusions apply. Before making a decision please consider the Product Disclosure Statement. If you purchase this insurance, CUA will receive a commission that is a percentage of the premium. Ask us for more details before we provide you with services.   4. To be eligible for a digital pre-paid Mastercard, you must:
    1. purchase a Home and/or Contents, Landlord, Comprehensive Motor or Combined Hospitals & Extras Health Insurance policy via the CUA Health Insurance website, CUA website, a CUA branch or the CUA call centre;
    2. have a valid email address and mobile phone number;
    3. take out a new policy and not have held the same policy in the last 12 months with CUA or CHL;
    4. between 1 September 2020 and 31 October 2020, purchase a Comprehensive Motor, Home and/or Contents, Landlord, or Combined Hospital & Extras Health Insurance policy;
    5. commence your policy cover between 1 September 2020 and 31 October 2020.
  5. Members who terminate their policy or downgrade their cover within 45 days of commencing their policy will not be eligible for a digital pre-paid Mastercard.
  6. Only 1 digital pre-paid Mastercard will be given per policy.
  7. This offer cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
  8. Subject to meeting these terms and conditions, the digital reward code will be sent to the policy holder via the mobile phone number provided at the time of joining within 14 days after your policy cover has been active for 45 days.
  9. The digital prepaid Mastercard will be issued by Edge Loyalty Pty Ltd ABN 96 138 299 288 on behalf of CUA. By participating in this promotion, you consent to CUA and CHL providing your full name, email address and mobile number to Edge Loyalty, who will deal with your personal information in accordance with their privacy policy, available at https://www.edgepri.com/en/privacy-policy/. If you do not consent to your details being provided to Edge Loyalty, then CUA will be unable to provide you with the digital pre-paid Mastercard regardless of your eligibility.
Redemption of the digital prepaid Mastercard is subject to the terms and conditions of Edge Loyalty including activating the digital prepaid Mastercard before the specified expiry date which will be sent to the claimant when their digital prepaid Mastercard activation code is sent by SMS to the mobile phone number they provided when entering the promotion.
  1. The digital prepaid Mastercard needs to be activated by following the link to access Mobile Pay via the App store that is sent in the SMS with their digital prepaid Mastercard activation code.  By clicking on this link in the SMS, the Entrant will automatically download and open the Mobile Pay App, populating and validating the Entrant’s mobile number and activation code. The Entrant is then required to enter their claim id, and if they are a:
    1. first time user of the Mobile Pay App, create a password (minimum of 6 characters) and enter their date of birth.
    2. registered user of Mobile Pay App already, enter their existing password
    The Entrant may then add the card to the wallet on their phone.
  2. Entrants can create a PIN for the digital prepaid Mastercard via the Mobile Pay App as using digital prepaid Mastercard for purchases over $100 may require entry of a PIN.  Instructions on how to set up a PIN are found in the “Do I need to set a PIN on my card?” FAQ located at https://edgemobilepay.com/support.
  3. Entrants who do not have a supported smart phone will be notified via a web page when they click on the link that was sent to them by SMS to activate their digital prepaid Mastercard.  The web page will direct them to Edge’s customer service to facilitate provision of an alternate reward of a physical prepaid eftpos® gift card upon request.  Terms and conditions governing the use of the physical prepaid eftpos® gift card are available at http://www.activatethecard.com.au/termsandconditions
  4. Digital prepaid Mastercard activation codes expire at 11:59pm AEST on the stated expiry date of the activation code. The expiry date provides 3 months in which the digital prepaid Mastercard activation code must be activated.
  5. The digital prepaid Mastercard is valid until the expiry date shown on the front of the card in the Mobile Pay App (not less than 12 months from date of production) and cannot be used after expiry. At expiry, the remaining available balance will be forfeited.
  6. Digital prepaid Mastercards that are not activated or redeemed within the designated time frame included in the SMS sent with the code cannot be re-activated, extended or refunded in any way. The Promoter is not responsible should the Entrant fail to activate or redeem the digital prepaid Mastercard in time.
