How and why we collect your information:
To help assess your application we may collect information about you from other parties, including credit rating agencies and your employer. We need this information for a wide range of purposes like identifying you, assessing whether the loan is suitable and affordable, administering our products and for contacting you to discuss your accounts or other products that may be suitable for you. If we don’t collect this information we won’t be able to offer our products and services to you. Laws requiring this collection include the AML CTF Act, the Privacy Act and the National Consumer Credit Protection Act.
Who we share your information with:
We may disclose your information to other parties including our agents and contractors, and third party service providers who help us identity you, process transactions, assess your creditworthiness, manage our securitisation vehicles and administer your accounts. We also need to share your information from time to time with our lawyers, accountants and auditors, as well as with various government agencies. We will share your information with research consultants and various social media organisations to help us better communicate with you. If you don’t want us to do this please let us know.
